This website is operated by Seytūn SARL Single Partner. Throughout the site, the terms “Seytūn”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that entity. Seytūn offers through this website, tools and services available to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated in the below.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, also referred to as “Terms” and “Regulations” hereafter. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants and/or content contributors.
The terms govern the online sale of Seytūn products and all browsing through the site. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access the website or use any service.
You can review the most current version of the Terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by updating and changing our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use or access to the website following said changes, constitutes your acceptance to the changes. By checking the box provided for this purpose containing the wording: “I have read and accepted the Terms”, you acknowledge reading and accepting the latest update of the Seytūn Terms and Conditions.
Our store is hosted on Squarespace. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
ARTICLE 1 - CONDITIONS OF SALE
You declare that you are purchasing one or more products for personal use and not for professional and/or commercial purposes. You certify that you are of legal age and have full legal capacity to place an order on the site. If you are a minor, you undertake to ensure that your legal representative has also consented to the purchase and guarantee Seytūn against any difficulty in this regard. It is your responsibility to know where you are legally able to purchase our products. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.
ARTICLE 2 - PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Information about our products and services are available through the site. The site is a commercial and informational site for the sale of Seytūn products including but not limited to skincare products.
Minor discrepancies between the presentation and the actual products do not qualify as a defect in the goods ordered. In particular, the colors, scale or texture of the products displayed on your screen. We recommend that you refer to the description of the products and their characteristics as mentioned in the site. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate
In absence of a different indication, products and services are delivered within the limits of available stock.
In the event of exceptional unavailability of the product ordered after validation of the order, we will contact you with the two options of (1) reimbursing you, or (2) placing your order in our pre-orders.
ARTICLE 3 - ORDERING PROCESS
The ordering process is subject to compliance with the procedure established by Seytūn, which consists of a succession of different steps that you must follow to validate your order, as per the below.
- Add the selected products to your cart with the desired quantities and sizes. - Fill in your email address and enter your delivery information. You certify that the information entered is the correct one.
- Choose your method of payment, if applicable.
- Validate the order after verifying all the information entered, the products orders and the total price displayed. By clicking on “Place The Order” you confirm the order and initiate the payment approval.
All confirmed orders are considered as a binding purchase contract. An order confirmation email will be sent to you. Invoices are issued only at the customer’s request.
Any change you wish to make to an order after confirmation is subject to our prior acceptance. A request for modification may be refused if it is abusive in character. To request said change, contact our customer service by email.
We reserve the right to refuse any order for legitimate grounds and more particularly if there is a dispute or incident between us relating to the payment of a previous order
or relating to a violation by you of the dispositions of the Terms, especially if we suspect that the goods purchased are intended to be resold on a commercial basis.
When making a purchase on the site, you are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current and complete, including but not limited to your name, mailing address, e-mail address and any additional information as indicated. Additionally, you must provide payment details that you admit are both legitimate and accurate and confirm that you are the person indicated in the “Billing” information provided.
All orders are subject to availability and any products in “Your Cart” are not reserved until your order is confirmed.
ARTICLE 4 - PRICING & PAYMENT
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the products.
The products are payable in dollars.
To order a Product, you must pay the price, including applicable VAT, sales taxes and other taxes or charges, particularly import taxes and duties, if any, as well as delivery costs.
We accept payment by the following methods.
- Cash on delivery
- Card on delivery
If the payment can’t be made for any reason, the order will be cancelled without our liability being incurred in this respect.
In the event of payment by credit card, you will access a dedicated area provided by a banking institution, which ensures the security and registration of the payment order. All transactions carried on the site are secure.
ARTICLE 5 - DELIVERY
Upon shipping the product(s) ordered, you will be informed by email. If you do not receive this email, we recommend that you check your spam box or contact our customer service by email via hello@seytunskin.com
Our worldwide deliveries are operated by DHL Express. You agree that your delivery address and complimentary needed information can be transferred to this third-party for the successful delivery of your order. The delivery used by default for all destination
countries is DAP (Seytūn is not responsible for paying taxes and duties to the customs authorities). By placing your order, you confirm to be aware of the extra duties that will be charged to you depending on your delivery address. Seytūn can’t be held responsible for delays that are not its fault. The delivery times indicated on the Site correspond to averages of processing and delivery times.
ARTICLE 6 - RETURN POLICY
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. The merchandise must be returned at the customer’s expense in the same condition in which it was shipped to receive a full refund. This includes but isn’t limited to: (1) the original packaging, (2) the box, (3) any items included in the box. We reserve the right to return a damaged item and not refund you if the outer packaging is not intact. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of its status. You will receive an email stating the approval or rejection. If approved, your refund will be processed, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain amount of days. Additional, non-mandatory fees tied to specific shipping options remain at your charge.
Custom duties and taxes paid to custom authorities are never refunded. For requesting a return, contact our customer service by email.
ARTICLE 7 - EXCHANGE POLICY
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Exchanges are only accepted if there is proof (image/video) of the items being defective or damaged upon receipt.
If you would like to exchange your item, please follow the same steps of the return policy by contacting our customer service by email.
ARTICLE 8 - FORCE MAJEURE
We can’t be held liable if the non-performance or delay in the performance of our obligations is the result of a case of force majeure as defined by Lebanese law and the case law of the Lebanese courts.
ARTICLE 9 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The general structure and content of the site including but not limited to the texts, videos, audio content, fonts, images, animations, sounds, newsletters, press releases, presentations, brochures, illustrations, drawings, graphics, photographs, logos that is reproduced therein are the exclusive property of Seytūn.
Any reproduction, representation, publication, transmission, use or modification, in whole or in part made without the prior written authorization of Seytūn would constitute an infringement of the Terms.
The trademarks and/or distinctive signs of any kind of Seytūn and/or its partners are the exclusive property of Seytūn.
ARTICLE 10 - PROHIBITED USES
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms, you are prohibited from using the site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Site or of any related website, other websites, or the Internet; (h) to collect or track the personal information of others; (i) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; (j) for any obscene or immoral purpose; or (k) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Site or any related website, other websites, or the Internet. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Site or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses.
ARTICLE 11 - PRIVACY POLICY
Seytūn agrees to comply with its Privacy Policy for the processing, collection, and usage of your personal data. Before uploading or providing any personal data to the Site, you should carefully read the Privacy Policy available. By agreeing to the Terms, you acknowledge and accept to be bound by the Privacy Policy.
ARTICLE 12 - GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you products or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon.
